Tropical Allure
(morsikhā) Celosia cristata blooming on the terrace
Lahan, Nepal
JataJhari (Morsikhā) showed up on my terrace uninvited—I never planted it, yet there it was. That’s what makes this plant special; it grows wherever it wants. Its flower looks like finger millet, but in bright, vibrant colors. The leaves have red spots, just like the flower, and the bloom stretches out long—not round like most.
